By making a booking with Outback Fishing Charters NT is shall be on the understanding that you agree to adhere to our Terms & Conditions.

Charter prices are set as per person regardless of age. Individuals 15 years of age or under must be accompanied by an adult.



BOOKINGS
Bookings made with our office require a mobile phone number and email address. Full payment for individuals must be made within 24 hours in order for the booking to be confirmed. Group bookings made with our office require a 50% deposit made within 24 hours for the booking to be confirmed. Payment can be made via bank transfer or via credit card over the phone. Please note that credit card payments incur a 2.9% fee.
Balance to be paid either by cash on the day or via bank transfer or credit card. Bank transfers and credit card payments must be made at least 2 working days before the day of fishing charter.

Bookings made via the website require immediate payment, a booking fee and card payment fee is charged on this platform.

We reserve the right to charge groups or individuals the full amount at the time of booking at our discretion, should we feel it necessary.



CANCELLATION POLICY
Individuals- We require a minimum of 48 hours notice of cancellation or change of numbers. You will be charged for anyone in your group who is missing if you have not given enough notice for us to try and refill the spot. Any refunds issued are minus applicable booking fees.

Group bookings/ Private Charters: We require a full 7 days notice to get your deposit back unless we cancelled due to weather. Private charters that are cancelled are charged a $50.00 administration fee if booked online via the booking platform. Cancellations of group bookings made in our office that meet the cancellation policy will incur no additional fees.

Cancellation of all bookings will require a minimum of 48 hours notice for individual bookings and a minimum of 7 days for group bookings to receive a refund.
Please ensure you have selected the correct date when making a booking, should you make an error with your booking and book the wrong dates within the cancellation period eg: on the day of the charter and then fail to show up you will forfeit your payment.
Charter cancellations made by us due to weather will be rescheduled to another time agreed on by both parties. A refund will can issued at our discretion minus any applicable fees.

No refunds are given on gift cards. Cancellations made withing the cancellation policy allow you to rebook. No shows and late cancellations forfeit the value on the gift card.



DEPARTURES
Our fishing charters depart from Dinah Beach, Darwin & Dundee Beach, Dundee.
We ask that you plan to arrive 10-15 minutes early to ensure you get there on time.
Should you not arrive on time, we cannot wait for you and you will therefore forfeit the money paid for the fishing charter and be charged as a "no show".



SAFETY ONBOARD
All onboard are given a full safety and brief at the beginning of the fishing trip. If there is something you do not understand or have questions please ask.

Clients with pre-existing medical conditions will need to inform us upon booking and detail any medication that may be required in case of an emergency.
Not doing so will be considered negligent and we shall take no responsibility should an incident arise.

Weather Conditions/ cancellations due to weather or lack of Numbers
All of our bookings are taken subject to suitable weather conditions. No fishing charter will go ahead if a strong wind warning and above has been issued. (It is at the Captains discretion on all other trips).
Trips are subject to having adequate passenger numbers to depart.
If the weather is not looking suitable we will call you on the evening prior to discuss our options. If the weather turns unexpectedly, customers will be notified as soon as possible.



SIZE AND CATCH LIMITS
We adhere to Fisheries Size limits and bag catch limits, meaning if you catch a fish that is undersized it will be returned to the water.
Each fish species has different bag catch limits, we expect customers to adhere to these as well.



BEHAVIOUR & CONDUCT
Staff shall be treated with respect at all times, they are not to be insulted, sworn at, abused or defamed. The skipper reserves the right to return any individuals to the nearest port with no refund being issued, this includes abuse and harassment.
Any persons that deliberately damaged, abused or loose fishing gear overboard will be charged a fee determined by the skipper onboard.
We ask that our equipment is treated with care and respect.
Any damage made to the boat will be charged to you should you damage it due to carelessness.



ALCOHOL
Alcohol is permitted on board our vessel but must be consumed in moderation.
Alcohol cans are permitted onboard. No glass bottles.
Behavior we deem inappropriate, will result in your trip being cut short and you will be returned to shore.
Smoking and drug use are not allowed on our vessel. Any attempt to use these substances will result in the trip being cancelled with no refund given.



DISCLAIMER
Booking and payment for a fishing charter with Outback Fishing Charters is deemed acknowledgement and acceptance of following disclaimer.
Outback Fishing Charters shall not be liable for any death, personal injury, or loss or damage to property and it is a condition of booking with Outback Fishing Charters that you hereby release to the full extent permitted by law, Outback Fishing Charters its employees, agents, and sub contractors from all actual or contingent liability in respect of such personal injury, death, loss or damage. All passengers shall comply with any direction given for the safety of the vessel and comfort of passengers and
agree that willful non compliance with such directions may result in an immediate return to the nearest port or the embarkation point without refund. It is a condition of booking and undertaking a charter that any passenger indemnify Outback Fishing Charters for all willful damage caused by any such non compliant
passenger.

All passengers of Outback Fishing Charters shall be liable for any cost associated with repairs and/or replacement of the vessel and/or equipment which occurs as a result of deliberate and willful damage.
